Piglet's In My Office

Lyra was excited to share some of her art with me this morning. She's been working on some water colors with Grammy.

Lyra: Here you can take this. I thought you'd like it because it has red in it. See? See the red. Mama, tear out this page.
Me: Oh, thank you. Yes, I see the red.
Lyra: Mama, tear out this page.
Me: Please let me eat my breakfast and then I'll tear out the page.
Lyra: Mama, tear out this page.
Me: I will, Lyra. After I eat my breakfast.
Lyra: You can take it to your office and hang it on the wall. People will ask you where got it and you can tell them that I made it for you. When you tell them will you call me?
Me: Sure, I'll call you.
Lyra: You can call me and tell me how much they liked it.
Me: I will call you and you can talk to them.

On the way up the elevator into the office the guy sharing the car with me also had a picture. His was of Bob the Builder - but no red in his.
