When they pulled up in the car, Lyra ran out and jumped into Grammy's arms.
Lyra: Did you miss me?
Grammy: Of course.
Lyra (to Grumpy): Do I look bigger to you?
Grumpy: You not only look bigger, you are bigger.
Lyra: Did you know I'm five now? I've grown.
Today at breakfast she said, "I wish I didn't have to go to school." (me, too - go to work that is)
When they left Minneapolis, it was -1F (-18C) and they arrived to temps near 70F (20C). For us it feels cool, but to them it is bliss!

That's so sweet!
We are at 0 right now. We leave for Florida on Sunday and it will be like being at the equator for us!
