Six Words

Our local bookseller back home (Schwartz Books) has sponsored a contest for a Six Word Memoir. The inspiration is a new book called "Not Quite What I Was Planning: Six-Word Memoirs by Writers Famous and Obscure" (link here: http://schwartzbooks.booksense.com/NASApp/store/Product?s=showproduct&isbn=9780061374050)

Hemingway wrote, "For sale: Baby shoes, never worn."

Other memoirs:
Not quite what I was planning.
Found true love, married someone else.
After Harvard, had baby with crackhead.
I still make coffee for two.
Married for money. Divorced for love.

My story, "Ordinary gal. Original rocker. Opposites attract."

What's yours?

Other memoirs...
Savor the moment, wish I had.
Always searching, but not actually lost.
Lives in head; head is full.
