Here, it's still summer. Yesterday's high 40 F/105 C. BIG Sigh. However, ever since September, we have had lovely evenings. My favorite time of day is spending the evening on the patio in my deck chair. Believe it or not, it's starting to be a bit too cool to use the pool. I think if we get a cover, that will help - but right now the water is very brisk! Especially when you come up out of the water into the dry arid air. Brrrrrrr.
I have an inkling that you start to feel about autumn here the same way you feel about spring back home. You long for the change in the weather; if you have a warm autumn day - it's as depressing as a snowy spring day; days start to get busy (I've noticed all sorts of community events that have started now that October is here); plants start to come back to life (smelled mown lawn a few days ago for the first time). There is definitely an anticipation of the lovely weather to come.
But I miss autumn.

The weather has been changing here in Milwaukee, slightly - it's 80 today. I was thinking about you guys...wondering if you were missing the season change.
Put a Autumn wallpaper on your computer and dream away!
In November when we have, what is it 4 hours of daylight, we will be thinking of you!
