In early June, we got together with 6 of the 9 families who we traveled with in China. All the families adopted children from Chao Hu orphanage. Here is a photo of the 6 kids together.
The kids from left to right are: Lyra, Ellia, Charis, Peter, Faith, and Grace.
We had the BEST TIME!!
Lyra has been having a great time learning to ride her scooter. After a couple of times around the block, she has gotten pretty confident. No wheelies or acrobatics so far, but her friend Charlie has offered to give her some lessons.
Another great fun day is going to the park. Many hours of fun can be had on the slide & swings. Just recently, Lyra has learned that she can hang from the monkey bars and swing back and forth. Still not enough bravery to drop from a height more than a couple of inches, but that time will soon come.
